Data Scientist (DS): Principal, Grade 7
Role Description
A data scientist serves as the central integrator of human-machine intelligence (HMI) capabilities that incorporate the listed key DS skillsets. Using domain expertise, a DS will sufficiently model and characterize data using statistical and signal processing methods to inform ML algorithm selection and configuration using a mature data architecture that seamlessly integrates into a software architecture for product implementation. In this role, the DS will continue to develop our third wave of machine intelligence (3MI) products and apply them to defense customer problems.

Requirements
Master of Science (MS) in a hard science degree (i.e. engineering, physics, or math) with 8 years of experience demonstrating at least 6 of the key data science skillsets. Must be eligible for a government security clearance.
Due to the nature of the work, it is mandatory that you are a U.S. Citizen. Occasional Travel Required

Preferred
Master of Science (MS) in a hard science degree (i.e. engineering, physics, or math) with 6 years' of experience demonstrating at least 7 of the key data science skillsets. Must be eligible for a government security clearance.
